Rosemary's Garden

Today we went to Sebastopol to get you some colic remedies. We went into Rosemary's Garden, a holistic pharmacy type of store. We got catnip tea, which we recently learned treats infants' colic. You and I will both take it, so you can get it directly and through my milk. We also got you some homeopathic colic medicine, a liquid which treats gas cramps and bloating. Later we stopped at Screamin' Mimi's and got ice cream (Daddy and Mommy shared almond and mud pie in a waffle cone...yum). Then we stopped into a toy store to look for gifts for Jonathan and Justin's upcoming b-days. Last we walked over to Whole Foods to get a few groceries, and then we went home to make Falafels w/ tahini sauce for dinner. You enjoyed our adventures today...you love getting out and doing things like this.

Party all night

Well, maybe you weren't partying, but you were up pretty much all night. It was probably colic, but you only slept for 20 minute increments. Now you and Mommy are extremely tired, so we will have to nap today.

Hanging in the Snugli

Alex, we just got back from our daily walk in the neighborhood. You just love being in the Snugli on Daddy's chest, bouncing as we walk and take in the sights. Today was kind of windy...a new experience for you. You seemed to like the breeze on your face. Jake and Tommy love for all of us to walk together.

One month old....Happy Birthday Alex!
Baby, you are a month old now...how can that be already? You now weigh almost 10 pounds, up quite a bit from the 7 pounds 15 ounces you weighed at birth. You have already changed so much. You are much more interactive with us, eat soooo much each day, and have such a personality. Happy happy birthday baby boy!

Squeaky Boy

Alexander, you have become such a squeaky boy lately! During your naps, especially, you have such big body stretches and squeaks come out of your mouth. Daddy or I swaddle you before naps and you dislike the confinement initially, but once down for your nap you get comfy, squeak a little, and then fall asleep.
